Jaron Criswell broke David Johnston's (Elaine, Ark) 41 year old long jump record (I believe 24' 10") with a leap of 25 feet. For those who do not know David, he was very possibly the best all around athlete ever to play for UCA (although there is the Henry Hawk element to consider). I am not even sure what all he did besides football and track but he was a pure athlete and TOUGH competitor. He was one of the USA's top decathletes about 1970.

Congrats to Jaron and all the other SLC qualifiers.

I think Bobby Tiner has to be kept in this mix...Football, Baseball and Track. He was multiple years all-conference in football and baseball at UCA and in high school his best sport was basketball.

No doubt Bobby was multi-talented.
