Guys, don't want to burst your bubble, but it was Nicholls State...

They went 0-10 in the SLC, 1-15 overall last year. They are the official SLC cellar dweller. Yes, you beat a Div I opponent, an SLC one at that. However, they've been down in the dumps and the only win last year was against Austin Peay while getting beat handily by most the SLC. Nicholls got blanked by SFA last year, the same SFA that went down 17-1 against SHSU in a 'Super Dual'.

Granted, UCA should definitely hop right into the middle of the pack in SLC womens' tennis next year, don't hang your hat too much on this one...

It was Nicholls State in tennis. At the school I was working at, I was helping the tennis coach devise a schedule and I told him to see what he could do about getting Nicholls to play us because that'd definitely be a much more high profile 'W' for our NAIA program...

You guys will compete instantly in many sports, tennis you should definitely be a middle of the packer instantly. Don't worry about that at all. I'm even thinking you guys will instantly compete for the SLC soccer title...

OK OK so he isn't Debbie Downer, I'm sorry for that. I just threw out the score because, A) it is other sports and they are in the Top 25 in Division 2 currently and B) we beat a future SLC foe, no matter how bad or good they are. Fogive me for posting scores on here in other sports because we shouldn't hang our hats on anything... :roll:


I do hope those reading this realize the nice amount of sarcasm intended for this particular post
