SLC meet at OU indoor facility in Norman this Friday and Saturday.

UCA has 38 athletes qualified in both meets.

Meet results will be posted at:

http://flashresults.com/flashtexas/Southland/slcarchive.htm

Best chance for points are:

Donovan Loring, Triple Jump
Bobby Washington and James Anderson, High Jump
Jaron Criswell, Long Jump
Sage Raphael, 400m
DeMarcus Harrison, 60m hurdles
Plus the 4x400m relay and the Distance Medley Relay (DMR)

SugarBears have 6-8 on the edge of scoring...have a good day and get some places....Bears have a couple of distance runners who could score a few with a solid run....

Bears with a good day could score 35-40 which would have been 7th last year....

Second Day Results

http://www.southland.org/ViewArticle.dbmlSPSID=90046&SPID=10816&temp_site=NO&ATCLID=205104558&DB_OEM_ID=18400

Bears finish 7th for best showing ever in SLC. Basically one athlete from being 5th. SugarBears in 12th.

SR Donovan Loring finishes 2nd in TJ with 50' 6" leap...very nice. Loring's leap would have placed in the SEC indoor meet, the nation's leading jumps conference. JR Sage Raphael was 3rd in the 400m and JR DeMarcus Harrison was 8th in the 60m hurdles. The Bears were 7th in the 4x400m relay.

SO Megan Snow was 6th in the 60m hurdles for the SBs only 3 points of the day.

UTSA, UTA and SFA were 1-2-3 in the men's meet with 153-111-105.5 points. McNeese edge UCA by 38-37.5 for 6th.

SFA, UTA and UTSA were 1-2-3 in the women's meet with 115.5-98-68 points.
