Looks like the girls competed well...that's all you can ask for. Coach Kuhn has a good bunch...Melanie Bryant is a stud and it sounds like the pitching staff is pretty solid as well.

Lissa Avitia and Kasey Britt would like a word with you Foot.
We outhit Northern Colorado 9-3. But we couldn't get a single run across. Kelsie struck out 8. NoCol only struck out 2. The difference was one pitch from Kelsie... It just happened to go over the fence. Bears lose.
We lost the lead in the top of the 7th against New Mexico v1. With two outs and a runner on first there was an error that scored the tying run and the go-ahead run. Bears lose.
We outhit Bryant 14-8 and played error-free ball. Bears win.
New Mexico v2 was just a 8-0 team playing better than us. Kelsie gave up 11 hits while striking out 8 and only walking one. The offense had just 6 hits. Bears lose.
The Purdue game was won by the Purdue bullpen. The Bears pounded the starter. She gave up five runs, on five hits and a walk. All in .1 innings. The relievers came in and gave up just four more hits and just one run the rest of the way. Bears lose.
It was a tough weekend. We lost two tough ones to start it off. New Mexico could be pretty good this season. They are just outside the top 25 right now. Need to get back on track today against LaTech.

I know Trey...I always get in trouble when I leave someone's name out. Congrats to Lissa and Kasey...didn't mean no disrespect.
