I'm going out on a limb and say that Tiffany Roby will be the SLC
freshman of the year in softball. (Remember you heard it here first)

I wasn't there but following Twitter it sounded like we lost a two-run lead on a homer in the top of the 7th and won it in the bottom on a bases loaded double.

You're right, but watching online I couldn't tell from the camera's point of view if it went out or not , combine that with the fact that live stats had quit, it was tough to call it correctly, but enough players crossed the base to win it either way. =D>

Also from Twitter, it read like the team did a good job of getting some fans to come out and support them yesterday. Those that stayed until the end were certainly rewarded.

I am really looking forward to the Tailgate party at the Softball game. I hope
the weather holds up. With the recent success of the football program, Sugar
Bear Basketball, Volleyball team and early season wins by the baseball and
softball programs it is a great time to be a BEAR FAN. The STRIPES, new
weight facility and the coming skyboxes only make it better.

I hope that everyone who can will come out to the Softball game at
noon on saturday. Bring a friend for a great day...weather forecast
is awesome. Show your support for BEAR SOFTBALL.

I don't want anyone to panic because I have cleared this with the
Athletic Director. We will be providing a meal for the team and coaches
after the game. We will also have food and drink for the fans during the
game...for a small fee. Come on out and enjoy the fun.
