It is not out of the question that UCA, McNeese, UTSA and TAMCC all end up at 12-8.....gets a little complicated for tiebreaker...best to win both ...UCA is 3-7 vs tourney teams but the two wins over SHS look really good at this point....

At UTSA starting 5/10/12. Double elimination.

Top 6 qualify with 1 & 2 getting first game bye. #3 plays #6 and #4 plays #5.

Softball drops Game 1 on Friday by 4-0 but comes back Satruday for a 3-1 Game 2 win....Newsome throws 8 inning and gives up four hits...Beals leads a 12 hit attack going 3/5

Regular season ends 36-20 and 12-8 in SLC...great season...more to come....

UCA opens vs UTSA.

No matter the seedings...it is great to see this program in the tourney. You
never know, but I think the Bears would have had a good shot at finishing
first had it not been for injuries to key players. ( Kasey Britt and Melissa Bryant)
Coach Kuhn and his staff have brought this program to a new level in the past
3 or 4 years.

They still have good shot in the tourney....play well and you never know what happens...good luck to the ladies in San Antonio..........
