On the road to Oxford on Tuesday with a single game vs Ole Miss then home for the weekend series vs Lamar......

Sanchez pitched complete game and only gave up 2 earned runs.....3 errors really hurt but LU had 3 doubles.........Felts, Shepherd and Hill each had 2 hits.........

Game 2:

LU 5-11-1 (9-8/24-20)
UCA 8-11-2

3 Bears pitchers combined for the win and Sanchez back in for the save...........Myers was 2/4 with 2 runs cored, 3 rbis and a HR.........Morris 3/4 with 3 rbis and 2 doubles........Crutchmer also 3/3..........Bears had 5 stolen bases........

Good to squeak out a win.........led 4-1 and Cards scored 3 in 7th to take 2 run lead 6-4................then a big comeback in bottom of inning for the win.....

Game 3:

LU 6-11-3 (9-9/24-21)
UCA 7-11-4 (11-7/22-19)

Took 4 Bear pitchers to survive this one.........only 1 K on the day........over 30 base runners by the two teams.............Haberman gets the win for UCA and is now 6-2 on the season......Brooks and Crutchmer each 3/4............Brooks had 3 rbis.....win comes on a error by SS that let two runners to score for the win........

Ouachita Baptist comes to town on Wed for a single game then off toe Hammond for weekend series vs Lions........
