Much needed win.....came from behind with 3 on HRs by Hill and Shephard in 6th to take the lead...each also had a double...…….Shephard had 3 rbis….Haberman got the complete game win...….Go Bears!!

Plenty of hitting with a double by Felts and a HR by Vernon but 8 LOB....led 4-1 but could not hold......

BearKats (22-5/35-21) beat #9 Texas 2-1 in opening game of the Austin Regional.....how rude...….the unthinkable...……….. orange beats orange...……….we got within a couple of runs of SHS in two games...…..probably no surprise to SLC teams who got whipped by SHS routinely this season...…..now they play Houston in winner's bracket...…….Go Kats!!


UPDATE.....fun never last forever.....#9 Horns come back to win regional and get to visit Tuscaloosa and #8 Bama.

Losing to Ok State turned out to be well earned...…..Cowgirls in their regional at Stillwater going 3-0 with wins over BYU (3-1), Tulsa (13-10) and Tulsa (2-1). Tulsa defeated BYU and Arkansas to make finals.


#13 OSU now gets a trip to Tallahassee to take on #4 Florida State in the super-regional.


UPDATE: Cowgirls upset #4 Florida State in super regional and move into final 8.....others included with no surprise #1 OU, #8 Alabama, #5 Florida and #2 UCLA plus #7 Minnesota, #6 Arizona and #3 Washington

FRISCO, Texas – University of Central Arkansas softball utility player Morgan Felts was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic for the second time in 2019, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Felts was tabbed to the Second Team All-Academic squad after also being selected to the Second Team All-Southland Conference team in May. She finished her career in Conway earning a 3.85 GPA in her final semester with the Bears and graduated with a degree in psychology in May.

The Conway native hit .313 during conference play her senior season and ranks top-10 in program history in career stolen bases. She is currently pursuing a career in physical therapy.
