Current WAC members.........no football since 2012....lots of geography to travel......
California Baptist (Riverside, CA) Chicago State ......very severe financial distress Dixie State (St George, UT) - FCS Independent Grand Canyon (Phoenix) New Mexico State (Las cruces, NM) - FBS Independent Seattle Tarleton State (Stephenville, TX) ...just moved up from D2 and is a FCS Independent Texas-Rio Grand Valley (UTRGV...Edinburg, TX) Utah Valley (Orem, UT)
So they take the three football schools above and add the 4 Texas SLC schools and have a 7 team football conference? Do they keep the non-football schools? If not, think about the enormous travel.......
Is New Mexico State just in a stranded football geography with no obvious home?
This could lead to a rolling mess............hope SLC has a plan to address.....
