cool article. I forgot they came in the same time we did. i was down there for a job interview last april, and the SGA president said they were exploring fielding a football team (i was offered but didn't take the job - couldn't go to an in-conference rival!). Did anybody travel down there for a game this year? I'm trying to remember how their facilities stacked up against ours, but i don't remember the gym...

the Arena they play at in downtown Corpus Christi is the nicest in the Southland Conference, besides the Farris Center of course!.... HOWEVER, it is an off campus facility, maintained by the city of CC. In fact it is a little smaller version of Alltel Arena, with all the bells and whistles as some might say. CC has a minor league hockey team, and they had a hockey game the night before, and then after our women's game in January. It is a very very nice facility. Now their on campus facility is a dive, hole, however you want to call it, at least the one they sent the girls to have practice in on Friday night was. To me, it was a worse version of the Prince Center...BEFORE the Prince Center was renovated for volleyball.
