As far as our opponents from this past season, and this is just going by sight seeing from the draft results...I know ORU has had several drafted, stAte has had 2 or 3, UALR has at least one, Dallas Baptist I think had 3 that I counted...we played some good quality talent this year, which is an obvious understatement!

I did notice a LHP from Fayetteville High was taken in the 34th round, Daniel Huchingson. In the 49th Round a kid from Harmony Grove, RHP Ronald Russel, was selected by the Cards.

UT Arlington, who we didn't see this year and won't see next year I do believe, also had a kid picked in the 21st Round by the NY Mets. Dillon Gee, a RHP.

The draft is complete. 17 Southland Conference players were selected through the 50 rounds of picks the last two days, if I caught all of them. I'm sure several of the Southland's incoming players for next year were drafted too. But that just shows that this conference is a nice home for UCA to play some great competition and talent, especially when you add it to the numbers of players selected from our non-conference slate as well.
