Not that unusual to fly given the distance for a conference game. A lot of teams would bus it but they obviously have the budget for it.

yeah, i wasn't really meaning to focus on the fact that the team was flying, but that they are offering a package deal for fans to fly with them.

$400 bucks is pretty sweet deal. Southwest offers round-trip flights for between 200-400. Of course that wouldn't include a room and ticket, etc.

Ah, I remember the time I spent almost every penny I had to travel with the team. It might have been less than $400. I have no idea. But it did cost a lot as a college kid (with no money).

Ahh, and now you're a married man with all kind of money but yet with no time to make all the games!

Partially true.

If you're looking for me on a Saturday between Sept. 1 and Nov. 17, I will be at a college football game somewhere.

They won't all be UCA though.

McNeese usually has a waiting list for the team charter. We offer free seats to boosters and large donors at least once per year.

I would think that our fans will also have a charter plane package for our game there in 2008. The "TOUR COMPANY", owned by a big McNeese fan, has a package to every out of town game. They have a Las Vegas package for our game vs Southern Utah, and bus trips for all of our near by games.

McNeese fans typically travel pretty well. Many spend big bucks following our Cowboys.

Well I'm married, but still don't have any money or time...it doesn't help that we live in Memphis and are both still in school

I enjoy other games also but not if I can get to Bears game. One of the nice things about hog games is you get to see the other SEC teams. However, not even Florida v Texas in their best years would keep me from a UCA game.

GoBears!!

In college I didn't miss too many football or baseball games. I had literally zero dollars but always managed to find a way to watch my Bears. \:D/

Same here. I personally like the experience of visitng other stadiums. I always enjoy going to War Memorial, no matter what people say about it's age/lack of ammenities. I'm looking forward to going to Neyland in Knoxville this year, and I'm also going to get to attend a GA Tech game w/ my brother-in-law.

I'm a closet WVU fan also, so I may even go to Morgantown this year.
