SLU shines light on new stadium plans

Southeastern's Lions worked through a pair of practices on Wednesday, then turned out in the evening to see the new lights at Strawberry Stadium turned on for the first time.
SLU President Randy Moffett, Director of Athletics Joel Erdmann and representatives of the Student Government Association also staged a ceremony to officially break ground on the new student-funded parking garage. The "intermodal transportation facility," funded by a student-assessed fee, is scheduled to open in spring 2008
They also unveiled the newest rendering of the revamped press box and club suites facility it plans to build atop the west stands of Strawberry Stadium after the season ends...
