Sorry to hear about Leonard's career ending injury. However, the rest of the SLC needs something to level the playing field the way McNeese has been playing....no doubt they will send out someone else with talent....

We are actually loaded at Tailback and wide reciever, so those injuries will not hurt us much. It's a shame though because he was a walk on that had to fight his way up the depth chart for 5 years, and was poised to have an outstanding year after being named the No 1 guy.

He earned every bit of what he got, and now this. Had to be hard on the kid.


It's the depth of our O-line that concernes me. We lose anymore there and we are in trouble.

Got this off a poster on the McNeese fan board...

"Looks like cbphan had it right. Have it on good authority that Quayhagen was trying to break up the fight and the video bears it out. He was trying to calm down the other Players down. He never threw a punch. Police arrested him and charged him because he would not give up the other players name. Coach saw the video and had a team meeting where he made the other ones come forward, telling them no way was Quay taking the heat for this. He then made them go talk to the investigators. Seems like the only stupid thing Quayhagen did was run when the cops got there. Will likely be a different version in Sundays paper. This happened Halloween night and everyone was in costume so not easily identified. We will see. JW"
