Watched a little bit of this game on tv last night. A few critiques.
SHS needs some bleachers courtside. They look like they were literally playing in an empty building, you couldn't see any seating on main camera. Halfcourt seats look like they are 50 yards away.

SLC TV needs to make their graphics bigger so you can see the time/score.

Despite it being a closely contested game it was really a poor television production. Lack of fans and the graphics made it tough to watch.

SHSU does have seating right up to the court.

The problem is on the press row side, which I am presuming was on camera, the seats are elevated above the action.

I've always liked the press side the way it is at SHSU. The reasoning is that the elevated platform they set up makes it far easier to see the action for a statistical view (particularly in volleyball). I'm also not a fan of press rows where the fans are directly behind it - makes it tough to maneuver - with Tulane's facility by far the worst of that kind.

I like that court. Not the side that is way up there, but the overall clean look to it.

I'm a fan too...

I've been to almost every SLC facility and from what I have been to, would say that SHSU ranks behind Lamar and A&M-CC.

UTSA has a nice, clean look - but it does not really have an arena feel. More of a spruced up rec gym or something like that.
