SHSU is clearly the best team in this conference. We just have to hope they have an off week at some point. The worst news is that Flanders is just a sophomore. SHSU only threw SEVEN passes in the entire game today.

I agree but all it takes is one key injury to change your fortunes. We still have a shot at the crown.

This was evident yesterday with Lamar when their starting qb didn't play the second half because of a foot injury. Kid was something like 22-25 the first half and having us for lunch. Second half, completely different story with their #2 running things.

However, Lamar ain't Sam Houston. A complete team such as Sam this year shouldn't be too shaken by the loss of one or two players. Kinda like LSU, imo.
