I just saw this on the Southland recap...Delta State beat SFA 17 to 14!! Wow, I know that DSU is usually good, but was it that DSU is that good or is SFA just not that good?

People just don't understand how solid and competitive the GSC is/was.
I'd be willing to bet that no other conference could have prepared us better for the transition.
DSU was ranked 21 after thrashing West Virginia Tech, 61-0.
SFA recovered TWO Delta fumbles and still lost virtually every other statistical category. They were 1-10 on 3rd down.
It could have been worse. DSU was just 3-for-5 in scores from the red zone, including one of those fumbles which happened around the 6 yard line.

SFA just isnt that good! Look at their records over the past couple of years! Their not any good, and no this isn't a knock on DSU bc they are very good!
