I agree. KOS is one articulate bad-boy.

I believe he needs his own category on this board so I don't have to hop all over to find his reactions, which I regularly do.

The category needs a swanky title, though. Suggestions?

They are already way ahead of where they were last year. Considering the loss of Brewer/Modica that is a pretty good situation you have going up there. In retrospect it looks like Mike Anderson may have been your guy all along. UAB and now Mizzou are looking like he really knows what he is doing.

In what way are we way ahead of where we were last year?

Already have quality wins over SIU, Marist and West Virginia even though they obdviously are still learning to play with one another.

They definitely showed they are not ready to handle the press and trapping defense that Mizzou threw at them the other.

KOTS you made some really insightful points about the weaknesses of the Razorback offense. I was not able to watch the CMU game but AR does have new guards and that is what happens until you get one of them to emerge as the "leader" and have a commanding floor prescence. I think Ervin will fill this role and direct the offense. Yes Hill (FG 66.7%) should not have the ball away from the basket. Heath's offensive coaching has not seemed to impress you but you have failed to mention that his defense caused 20 turnovers in their win over CMU. If you play solid defense every game it will always give you a chance at winning.

I've never said I was totally sold on this team yet. How they perform in games against TX Tech, Texas and Oral Roberts will be a good indicator of how the Hogs will perform in SEC play.

Who really cares?

I cheer for the Razorbacks but they are not the focus of what I care about on this site. There are plenty of Hog sites to rant on.

I'd rather see some of the crazy ramblings we write about our Bears. Especially the conspiracy-mongerers. Humor worthy of The Colbert Report.

Most of us are rabid Bear fans and we do plenty of crazy ramblings for our favorite school. We are in the appropriate forum "other colleges" to be discussing another team. And I also don't want to go to another site that can't talk about their team as objectively as we do here. If you don't want to read about other schools than do not come into the "other colleges" forum. 8)

Arkansas routs No. 8 Alabama 88-61

Razorbacks 12-3, 1-0 SEC

Think these guys may have started to figure out how to play together. Huge win may set the tone for the rest of the season. Will have to wait and see what they do the next few games.

No doubt that game was the best-played game UA fans have seen in many years. This week's game vs. Florida has a new outlook now. I'm sure before the Bama blowout most would have predicted a similar fate for Tuesday's game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that a blowout by Florida is equally as possible as it was before. You never know with the UA.

At this point, the only thing I see consistent about the Hogs is their inconsistency!

Saw on ESPN ticker where Jamaal Anderson, DE for the Hogs, declared for the draft.

Ouch!!!!!! That's gonna hurt big time. He basically shut down WI offense in the last game. 2007 - No Anderson, Jackson, Obajubuti. Losing a couple big guys on the OL.

What about Marcus Monk?

No news on Monk but just heard on KARK that Chris Houston is also declaring along with Anderson.

Well, now that you mentioned it - I did hear that during the holidays they spent the night at a Holiday Inn Express, but not together! :)
