It used to be September, but Summer works much better.

I've got a pair of dirty socks that are worth more than that.

This isn't completely about the Cubs, but kinda cool to me.

Article

Conway's Bryce Molder reached the big leagues last week - but not in golf.

He took the mound at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

As part of a promotion for this weekend's LaSalle Bank Open (contested in a Chicago suburb) and for the Nationwide Tour, Molder threw out the ceremonial first pitch Tuesday night for the Chicago Cubs' game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He earned the honor by winning a drawing among tour players.

Did you see the Cubs 1st round pick ? A LHP from a Utah high school that did not allow an earned run this year (10-0) in 63 innings pitched ! 26-2 during his hs career with about 440-460 strikeouts. Amazing and regardless of team I wish the kid well. He signed less than 2 days after being drafted too.

Wow!!!   Sounds like if the kid pitches that well in the minors he might be signing a pretty sweet contract with the next couple years.
