I got to say I'm a bit speechless by that...

Looking at those standings though, I'd have to say the Western Division is a bit top heavy!

UAM has really hit rock bottom. Only 4 wins on the entire year! That is hard to do. Even we won 10 games in 1994 after they told us they were getting rid of the program.

Tech will quickly trade places with DSU after the weekend. They are 7-1 but swept HSU, took 2-3 from UAM. They some how managed to beat SAU 7-1 but most likely used their only stud pitcher.

Look for Tech to fall into that #4 spot pretty quickly. I think they've played the bottom half of the conference so far. I work with a guy from OBU and I believe he said they play SAU this weekend. It sounds like if they win 1 game they'll all but wrap up 1st from the west. Definitely a shock seeing DSU down there, though!

It looks like OBU will end DSU's dynasty this year. An extremely impressive run though. DSU should be able to finish in 2nd b/c SAU will probably take a couple more losses here and there.
