So, has the end game started with OU and UT moving to SEC or is this just another advantageous move by two gridiron powers which will cause musical chairs among others?

There has been lots of speculation for years that NCAA D1 is headed to having the P-5 schools in some way splitting off and having their own umbrella association.

However, as one fan of a P5 team I know said that will not happen because many of the P5 teams need those G5 and FCS games for WINS to be bowl eligible. I felt obliged to point out that any P5 school that needs G5 and FCS for that purpose would not be very attractive to the royalty of P5.

However, the NCAA has one pretty big stick in that they control the March Madness money.

This should be fun to watch.....

Pig fans don't want those two schools in the conference. It would put them further down the useless list if two more higher teams came in. Pretty funny if you ask me.

So, the SEC Expansion has led to a stream of changes.....let's check in where it stands now....

SEC....Texas and Oklahoma to move to SEC...no word yet on how that will impact SEC divisions

Big12....pick up 4 new members to get back to 12 from current members....BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston ...AAC to lose 3 top football members

AAC....news this week that AAC would seek to add Charlotte, FAU, North Texas, Rice, UAB and UTSA...all from CUSA....

Waiting to see what CUSA tries to do.....needs to add at least two....Liberty might be one....also at risk of more losses....

MAC has been quiet as well....some rumors that they are positioned to expand southward and seek out Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State.....

Army is also an independent but seems to want to stay that way....

Sunbelt and MWC have indicated they are sitting still...at least for now...
