Did anyone catch the Bama/Miss St. game. That was crazy how the trusses were swinging back and fourth! I'm glad I wasn't there tonight!

Last game of the night cancelled. SEC officials said they weren't sure where and when the tourney would be completed.

If they want the tourney to be over with by selection time tomorrow they don't have any other choice, I think.

The SEC has money and power. It will be interesting to see if they can cause the selection committee to hold off another day.

I don't see them being able to fix that hole in the roof too quickly. I wonder if they end up moving the games over to Ga Tech?

That was the option being mentioned last night.

Just saw this on another board:

The University of Kentucky's game against Georgia in the SEC Tournament was postponed Friday night after a severe storms slammed downtown Atlanta damaging the Georgia Dome. Several media outlest are reporting the SEC Tournament will be moved to the campus of Georgia Tech University.
At least two Atlanta TV stations are reporting the UK-UGA game will be played at noon on Saturday. The winner will have to play two games on Saturday, moving on to a semi-final game later in the day.
The SEC has not made an official announcement yet.
If the Tournament is moved, the SEC would have to determine how to handle a ticket situation. The Georgia Dome holds nearly 25,000 people, Alexander Memorial Coliseum at Georiga Tech only seats 9,200.

Another update:

Dogs play at noon Saturday at Georgia Tech

The SEC Tournament is moving out of the Georgia Dome and down the road to Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum to be played in front of family, friends and media only.

Georgia and Kentucky, whose quarterfinal game was postponed late Friday after an apparent tornado struck the Georgia Dome and World Congress Center areas southwest of downtown Atlanta, will play at noon Saturday. That game will be followed by Tennessee and Arkansas at 6 p.m. Then Mississippi State will play the Georgia-Kentucky winner 30 minutes after the first game.

The championship game will also be played at Tech at 3 p.m. on Sunday. That's two hours later than the original scheduled time but the SEC wanted to build in "an opportune turnaround" for the teams playing late Saturday.

Admission for all remaining games is limited to players' families and anyone holding a working credential. That means that tens of thousands of fans in town for the event will be turned away.

"We're working on a refund situation right now," said SEC spokesman Charles Bloom. "Hopefully they'll realize what happened tonight. We realize the passion is there and they want to see their teams play. But we had a significant event here."
