If they meet up with Texas, I will gladly hop on the LSU bandwagon.

No way Texas makes it to the final series.
I haven't been impressed by them at all. ASU is coming out of that bracket.

That would be optimal.

I haven't seen any of that bracket yet, but having read the recap from the Texas-So. Miss game I can see where the Longhorns wouldn't necessarily be the overwhelming favorite to come out of that side anymore.

So you read where Texas won because D1 college pitchers couldn't throw a strike? The bottom of the 10th went something like this:

Walk -> HBP -> Walk -> Walk

It was embarrassing to watch. I'm sure UpandIn was really proud of the way his boys played.

Hey look...Don't take anything away from Southern Miss, they are a very good ball club. It just showed that their bullpen can not stand up to the challenge of pitching in pressure situations. UT has not been hitting the ball very well since the start of the super regional (remember the 25 innning game), but they are still finding ways to win. I mean you have to give credit to the kid watched ball 4 with bases loaded and two outs. He could have very easily been hacking for the fence.

I can see how you would not be impressed with them, but I have watched this team for most of the season and I know what they are capable of. I wouldn't count them out just yet. There's a reason why they are the number 1 overall seed.

Reminder:
The first team eliminated was the #2 seed.
They thought there was a reason they were that high too. And their foolishness and not playing "Titan baseball" cost them.

Still think the UNC/ASU winner has a good shot to win two over Texas.

Leake had a terrible game last night. The odds of it happening twice (if the were to beat UNC) are extremely low.

I was surprised that ASU left the lefty throwing 78mph in the game for so long. It only takes one atbat to figure out the speed on that thing. Then you're just teeing off - which Texas did.

The **** are finished. Even if they win tonight, they would still have to beat LSU twice I believe to advance....and that ain't happening. 8)
