Good one. It is hilarious how often I hear certain shows and fans talk on and on about facilities and react in shock when some kid picks another school that couldn't possibly have such great facilities. The trust is that there's a lot more to it, and a lot of fans and "experts" don't have a clue what other schools have in the way of facilities. Did I mention facilities?

It really cracked me up on the radio the other day when some guy suggested that USC would drop off seriously if Carroll left because they just don't have the facilities. They are in LOS FREAKING ANGELES. They don't need to entice kids to the backwoods with their buildings. They are on the coast with all the glamour and they produce NFL players.

Went back and looked and WKU was a lot more competitive than I remembered (we didn't play them because thier in state SEC school wanted to play them). They did not win any D1 games and only won 2, but they gave Troy, Virginia Tech and FAU pretty good games.

Uhh, I'm pretty sure Jake Delhomme when to the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now known as Louisiana-Lafayette), so that Arizona State thing might have been tough.
