Brett Favre is back! Again! He unretired again this morning and headed to the Vikings.

I must be missing what's great about this.
Maybe if you're a Vikings fan?

or maybe if you got hosed in your fantasy draft and need a decent QB or back-up.

Ha. I see where this might be good for you.
Unless you are penalized heavily for INTs.

If Favre was still in the top third of good qbs in the NFL I'd be all for him. However, being in the bottom third (all things considered) I feel like he is tarnishing his image. Just to play for the love of the game is not always a productive result at his age.

I don't hate the guy. I just am tired of all the dramatics.
If you've decided to come back but just don't want to go through most of training camp, fine - just say that up front.

it seemed at first that favre coming back wasn't going to get as much attention as it did last year. but i guess the fact that he is in Minny makes that much more newsworthy.

the real question is - does he make for a better better fantasy back-up than Matt Ryan, when P. Manning is your starter?

@BearDenFounder - Absolutely he does and I'm not just saying that because I want to pick up Matt Ryan.

1.) I like how PnG used Twitter-like communication skills.
2.) In his rookie season Ryan threw for as many yards in a lot fewer attempts. He also threw for fewer interceptions and touchdowns. All of that in a rookie season.
3.) Keep us informed of how the trade situation goes with the two of you.

25 million reasons other than love of the game.
