Tune in this Saturday at 11 a.m to see the Red Wolves take on #13 Iowa and on Oct. 13 against ULM. Leaves you plenty of time to get to Estes after we play.

At least you won't have to stay up until midnight like I did to watch you guys a few weeks ago. It was tough getting up at 6:30 to head out the next day for tailgating.

For the Iowa football team, Saturday's home game with Arkansas State represents a chance for the Hawkeyes to improve their record to 5-0 for the first time since 1995. For Arkansas State, the game has a more material meaning: It's a chance to fund about a third of its football budget for the entire season. Iowa will pay Arkansas State a guarantee of $900,000 to visit Kinnick Stadium, one of the largest amounts ever paid to a visiting team anywhere in the country. It's a sign of the times in college athletics. "It is a real challenge right now for all teams to schedule," Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said. -- Sioux City Journal

Wow. That is a serious check stAte will get.

I think I saw somewhere that in the near future (next year maybe?) they are getting $1,000,000 to play Auburn!

It's even better when you go in there and embarass a team after they cut you a check.

FINAL: 24-21 Iowa.

A pretty good performance by stAte w/ some particularly notable plays (the pick-6 in the 3rd (?) was especially good).

ASU eliminates turnovers they probably would've won that game.

Looked like a very good team with horrible play-calling.
