Ok now I can understand some of this but it seems to me like college football players think that they deserve to be playing the game. What happened to the days of the Junction Boys under Bear Bryant. You never heard of those guys crying about coach being mean and saying hurtful things.

No doubt. One of these guys was my little league baseball coach.....we loved every minute of it...today you have to be concerned more about being PC and whether it may hurt their self esteem....I have no idea about the KU coach although KC radio talk show guys who know him seem to confirm much of the "mean" behavior.....still poking someone in the chest in my day to make a point was the norm....

When I played HS football, I didn't pick up a rushing linebacker and he hammered the QB. Needless to say coach made me stand in the shotgun position and let the same LB take an open shot at me. Well let's just say from that point on the QB never got sacked from his blind side while I was playing HB.

There is no way that could be done today.

At least you're honest about it.

Come on Beary.
Just about anyone can play HB at a small school.
You know, schools about the size of Hoxie or something.
