It's that time of year again boys and girls!!!
ESPN Tourney Challenge: Group Name - UCA Bears
Group Password - Purple Bears (it is case sensitive)

Good luck and maybe next year one or even both of our teams will be in the bracket!!!

Yep, watched the whole game plus the 97 commercials. Will be pulling for UNI the rest of the way. For those that might not remember, a couple of carloads of students from UNI - at their own expense - came down to UCA after the shootings on campus to show their support and offer their sympathies for the tragedy on our campus. Only school that I know of that did that.

that was Northern Illinois, not Northern Iowa.

Northern Iowa students only drive down to run corn whiskey.

I stand corrected. My informant was wrong.

Good enough reason to still pull for them.

FCS, FBS, BCS..and any other designation belongs to football.

Division I is the only title equated to basketball and any other sport in the NCAA.

What do the letters FBS stand for? It doesn't apply to a school or any other sport besides football.

If i'm wrong, please somebody tell me! :?:

You are correct but believe me that the powers that be still see schools like UNI as "FCS" in baskteball. I have even heard ESPN mouths refer to some teams as not being FBS...of course, then there was the national sports talk guy who referred to UC-Davis as a "small school"....only 35,000 students but what the heck....guess Texas State fits that also......
