Southland did not have many participants but those who were there (Randal Tyson Track Center at Fayetteville) did well.
In the M400m, Michael Courtney of SHS won Heat 3 of the prelims on Friday in a swift 46.05 then came back Sat night in the finals for 4th at 45.96.
In the M60m, Teddy Williams of UTSA was 3rd in Heat 3 on Fri at 6.65 then came back Sat night to another 6.65 time good enough for 4th overall.
These are terrific marks in a field packed with best of the SEC and Big 12. Williams and Courtney become All-Americans with their finishes.
