Excellent academic reputation
Basketball in Horizon League and Pioneer (FCS) in football
In Sagarin ratings, Horizon is 74 vs Southland's 69 and strength of schedule of 74 vs SLC at 70
Horizon members are Wright State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland State, Loyola-Chicago, Illinois-Chicago, Valparaiso, Youngstown State ...
Butler is at 87 and SOS of 77
In football, Pioneer has Sagarin rating of 36 while SLC at 47...
Butler was 38 with SOS of 35....UCA was 5-7 at 53 with SOS of 49...
Butler avg 2500 per football home game and Bears at 8500+
Goes 33-5 this year in basketball and was 1" away from beating Duke....
May give Hoosiers some competition for hearts of Hoosiers....
Glad to see a FCS school do so well....
PS...Butler's Matt Howard is deceptively good....not fast, not the tallest, not the biggest but gets great position and can move well with or without ball and a tough rebounder...

I hear Coach Williamson has already mentrioned that the Bears will aspire to be the next Butler and Gonzaga and be at the top of the Southland. Got to believe it before it will happen.
