The Commissioner’s Trophy, the highest honor bestowed by the Conference and one of the most prestigious individual honors in Division II, will be presented at the GSC's Annual Banquet, Thursday, June 24 at the Embassy Suites in Hoover, AL at 6:00 p.m. (Central). At that time, the Conference will also recognize its “Top Ten” recipients (released on June 22), and All-Sports Trophy Champions (men: Valdosta State; women: West Florida) and bid farewell to one of its retiring administrator: Henderson State University Athletic Director Sam Goodwin.

Sam has had a long career...end of an era in a way.....let's see....Parkview, Northwestern State, SAU and HSU...where else?
