Believe me, I know how far the program has fallen...I haven't attended a lot
of games but have seen enough over the years to realize the team was in
shambles. I watched what I considered a bunch of thugs play at UALR one
night at Verizon Arena. I am not oblivious to the fact that this program had
hit not rock bottom, but under the rock.
my point simply, was that expectations have to be more for this program
than to be as good as the NAIA school a few blocks away. UCA is DIVISION 1
for crying out loud and we as alumni and fans should not and can not accept
anything less than a competitive program moving forward. Last year was a
given...totally new team from the Head coach to the ball boy. But there needs
to be marked improvement this year in wins and being competitive. Can't get
beat by 40 anymore by teams in the conference.

Shambles ? Thugs ? Foot, now you are being too kind.
I think the expectations are more for this years after last season. Honestly, if we we win 10 to 12 games with the schedule we have this year, it will be a pleasant surprise. Again, it is going to take time and good recruiting to get this program where it needs to be.
Don't be surprised by the teams from Stephen F. Austin and Northwestern State...with what they have returning, they could beat us by 40.
