Well, enough enjoying the NWS win and time to get onto ACU and former Bear QB Ken Collum's team.

ACU is 2-3 in SLC and 4-5 overall.

Wins:

9/13: at Troy (38-35)
9/20: Incarnate Word home (21-0)
9/27: at Houston Baptist (59-14)
10/11: Ave Maria home (55-14)

Losses:

Georgia State (Sunbelt) at Atlanta (37-38)
Northern Arizona (Big Sky) home (21-27)...NAU beat #2 Eastern Washington this past weekend
Lamar home (21-24)
McNeese at LC (31-20)
Sam Houston State at Huntsville (38-21)

Not a team to be taken lightly.

Let's hope the athletic office sends out lots of e-mails to alumni in the
DFW area about the game in Plano. Also wondering what if any
publicity the game will get on local tv and radio stations.

I haven't seen any publicity yet, but it's a little early in the week. Stadium holds about 14k, so put the mattress on the car roof and drive on down to Dallas, I'll buy you a beer.
Unless hell freezes over, ole 83 will be there!

Coming down Friday to Rockwall to stay with friends...going to see the
Dallas Stars Friday night and the Bears on Saturday afternoon.
Hockey and football...what a combo.

Really excited about the game. I think the bears have improved each game in all phases. Hopefully Campbell can continue this trend. We are peaking at the right time. Go Bears!

The passing game of ACU is cause for concern. The UCA
d-backs need to continue their steady improvement.

I see this one 44-27 BEARS.

Spread the word...Bears play in Plano on Sat. UCA needs a big
fan turnout. Don't sit at home and watch on TV...Get to John Clark Stadium
in Plano and support the Bears.

I dropped by practice yesterday for a few minutes...seemed to go well.
Spirits were high and it was a beautiful day. Did notice that Taylor Reed
is in a walking boot but he was getting around pretty good. Hopefully
he will be back soon. Howard and Hildebrand looked sharp...each made some
great throws. It wasn't a full pad day so no full contact was evident but
the guys were moving around pretty good and the coaches were keeping
the pace very fast. This team should have a lot of confidence heading to
Plano.

Big Country Sports

Looks like ACU will be without their starting QB this weekend.

ACU and Central Arkansas will play Saturday in front of a national television audience as Legacy Productions' broadcast will be carried live on Fox College Sports.
Kickoff for the Southland Conference game is set for 2:05 p.m. from Clark Stadium in Plano.

The game will be carried on Conway Corporation Channel 141.

To find the channel where the game will be available on your local cable provider, go to http://fcs.channelfinder.net/start.asp

If you have DISH network, you can turn to channel 446 to watch the broadcast.

DirecTV will not be carrying the game.

You will also be able to watch the game online at http://www.acusports.com or foxsportssouthwest.com. Details for the online Webcast are still being worked out.
